Welcome! I am Jeni Brockbank, a daughter of God who is healing from some challenging circumstances, including trauma.
Not long into being married, I discovered that my husband had been viewing pornography. At the time, I didn't understand the seriousness of the situation and told him, "I love you. I forgive you. Now go talk to the bishop and don't do it again." I have since learned more and have found that there are tools that can help us when we are in severe circumstances. I wrote a book that is called Healing In Christ's Light From Patterns of Sexual Betrayal As a Covenant-Keeping Daughter of God and am humbled to say that Cedar Fort Publishing will make it available in January of 2024. In my book, I write about the 4 A's being:
While I have tried many modalities of healing and found value in all of them, I have learned that healing in Christ's light expedites healing and makes it more thorough. I have found that Christ will hold my hand and explore those dark crevices in my heart. When He exposes them to His light and love, true healing happens. The more healed that I am, the more peace that I receive. I love learning and bring genuine curiosity with me. I hope that you will join me as I explore healing in Christ's Light. Love, Jeni |
